Monuments to Guilt is a first person wander through a short exhibition taking place in the 'Museum of Exclusionary Design'. The exhibition explores the core principles of this harmful practice by highlighting the many design variations of the public bench. It attempts to highlight how contemporary design aesthetics are used to disguise - or even enforce- the lack of function our public benches provide. As these objects have begun to more closely resemble public art than public service, the typical white-walled museum frames them within a space they aspire to be, rather then the one they despise.
